Enterprise moguls mentor Ahmadi youth in Lagos


Successful owners of renowned enterprises and industries were among the executives who mentored the youth section of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Nigeria (AMJN) in Lagos.

The business executives spoke on guided topics, personal experiences, tips, tricks and strategies to adopt by youth who may want to venture into any enterprise at a recent economic summit.

Leading the discussion, the CEO, Ascension Consulting Services, Alhaji Abdulazeez Alatoye said for would-be entrepreneurs but who still work with other people business owners must develop personal competence, and good attitude which are capable of opening doors and helping them stand on their own.

“In recruitment, we often look out for applicants’ attitudes and competence. The two qualities count a lot. That is why we keep advising people that they must not fail to use those good qualities they have to get what they want,” Alatoye who is also the Naib Amir, AMJN South West said.

Equally, an Information Technology (IT) Engineer, Yusuf Adeyemi advised the youth to develop skills to explore and to be adventurous. He said in doing that, they can end up becoming experts and even setting up businesses in fields they may not have acquired academic studies in tertiary institutions. [DailyTrust]
