President Muhammadu Buhari has approved November 1st of every year as the National Youth Day.
This development was made known to the public by Mr. Sunday Dare, the Minister of Information via his twitter handle.
According to the Minister, the President said this during a Federal Executive Couuncil Meeting on Wednesday.
The minister tweeted ” Today, president Buhari in Coucil approved November 1st every year as the National Youth Day to celebrate, draw attention to and find solutions to the issues that affect the Youth. Mr. President as again demonstrated his commitment to supporting youth-focused policies. Thank you”
The FEC meeting was conducted virtually, Buhari presided from the Presidential Villa while some ministers participated from their respective offices.
