Former Minister of Education, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili on Tuesday embarked on a solo protest to the Presidential Villa in Abuja over herdsmen killings in Plateau State.
The former minister said she marched as far as she could to the Villa to protest the ineffectual ways President Muhammadu Buhari was handling the herdsmen killings.
She said on her twitter wall that the police, military &and SSS trampled on her rights by seizing her banner.
Ezekwesili carried a banner, with the inscription: “Stop the killings. End the blood flow! Plateau Massacre.”
According to her, “I stood my ground and refused that my banner be seized. Then read my urgent message to the president, titled, “Act Now: Enough is now totally and truly enough! ”.
